The easiest way to decide on a size is by taking a measuring tape, wrapping it around where you want to wear the item, loosening the measuring tape until it is comfortable/has the desired fit (whether tighter or looser), and finally noting the size.

The sizing of the bracelets is measured to about halfway down the extender chain so there is wiggle room in the sizing: there will be space to make the bracelet smaller or larger depending on your needs. Also note that these items are made with a stretchy cord, so that also makes sizing more forgivable.

Keep the item away from moisture as much as possible (water, lotion, sweat, etc.). We do use high-quality materials that will endure through a good level of contact with moisture, but minimizing that contact will ensure your jewelry looks better for longer.

Take the item off when sleeping or exercising. Again, though the piece can endure levels of friction, minimizing it can help the item last longer.

✦ When not wearing the item, store it somewhere dry. We ship our items in a microfiber pouch to provide a safe place to store your jewelry pieces when you're not wearing them. ✦

• Beads: All of the seed beads I use are top quality Czech and Japanese glass beads.
• Cord: It is a polyester and polyurethane cord that contains NO latex, rayon, or elastic. The cord is elastic-like and stretchy, but is stronger than standard elastic cord.
• Findings: For gold items, all of the findings I use are gold-plated. The majority are 18k or 24k gold-plated stainless steel, but one is 18k gold-plated brass. For silver items, all the findings are stainless steel.

Being environmentally friendly was important when selecting what packaging I would use. Nearly all pieces of the packaging are recyclable. The one item that cannot be recycled is the jewelry pouch. My desire is that by using this higher-quality pouch, you will use it over a long period of time to protect your jewelry pieces. This is also why the pouch has minimal store branding - to encourage you to use the pouch for as long as possible before disposing of it or passing it on to someone else.
